Cadet Program Mission Statement
The mission of the Howell Area Fire Authority Cadet Program is to provide further education and experience to prepare area youth for a career within the fire service.
Education and experience will be gained through attending department trainings, as well as actual emergency calls.

Cadet Program
In the Cadet Program there are currently two positions available after
completion of the Cadet Training Academy.

Auxiliary Cadet: This is an Academy graduate that has been invited to participate in monthly trainings and department events. Age 14 - 18.

Cadet: These are a select few that have shown an interest in making a career move into the fire service in the near future. Age 16 - 18
