Fire Chief of the Year 2005

Fire Chief James D Reed of the Howell Area Fire Department was presented the Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs "2005 Fire Chief of the Year" award. President Douglas Doefer presented the award to Chief Reed at the annual MAFC Fall Conference which was held at the Riverfront Double Tree Hotel in Bay City, Michigan on September 29, 2005.

This award is sponsored by the Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs and is intended to recognize exemplary service, innovation, and/or professional achievement within the fire service.
