OUR MISSION STATEMENT

To protect lives, health and property in the Howell Area Fire Department (HAFD) response area from the outcomes of fire, medical, structural and environmental emergencies through education, prevention, mitigation and control.

SMOKE DETECTOR PROJECT

 

The Howell Area Fire Department is working hard to protect our residents of the Howell area. Upon request firefighters will come to your residence and check existing smoke alarms, install new batteries, or install new 10-Year battery operated smoke alarms when needed. While Firefighters are at your home they will not only check your smoke alarms but also review your fire escape plan upon your request.

The Howell Area Fire Department operates out of four stations, our main station and three substations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Howell Area Fire Department has Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPS) ready to 

conduct child safety seat checks, where parents and caregivers receive hands-on

assistance for proper use of child restraint systems and safety belts.
